Join us for Piano Safari Friends! This accelerated beginning piano class is for children ages 6-8 and their favorite grown-up! Our goal is to facilitate joyful beginning piano experiences between you and your child. Caregiver participation is required, both in the classroom and during facilitated practice time at home.
 

Using the Piano Safari curriculum, your child will learn how to identify various keys on the piano, will learn piano playing numbers for each finger, songs by rote, rhythm patterns and consistency of macro and micro beats, follow the leader songs that they can play with their grown-up, body awareness including the release of tension in arms and shoulders, ear training to distinguish high and low pitches, beginning music literacy skills, and proper hand positioning at the keyboard. Tuition includes the Piano Safari Friends student book, and a notebook with additional materials. 
 

*All students registering for this class MUST have access to a full size (88keys) piano or digital keyboard in their home, and families must be willing to commit to 10-20 minutes of adult facilitated time at the piano daily for the duration of the class.
